Second Graders in the Community

Lane’s class has been learning about “community.”  Yesterday, I got to join him and his classmates at Food Lifeline in Shoreline.  Food Lifeline provides food to needy people in Western Washington.  We repackaged 390 pounds of Berry Buckle cake in 2 hours!  It was a blast and a great experience for the kids – and the adults.  Love the hairnets!
